And today we move on as Silver and Whiskey arrive at the new ranch in the Santa Ynez valley after a trailer ride with lots of rest stops from Oregon. This actually was a couple of days ago but I didn’t have time to get this up yet. Whiskey was an owner relinquishment, much loved by his owner but he definitely didn’t want to be trained and had issues bolting under saddle and went through several trainers before coming to Skydog. After all the running wild horses lately it’s so lovely to get out and give scratches to some of the more tame mustangs at Skydog. Wilson was rescued from a kill pen and named for Scott @photoadvocacy to say thank you for all the incredible photos he’s taken of our horses and donated to sanctuary.
